Spain's Eva Mora: We are ready to host Eurovision 2023
Spain’s Chanel won Europe over during the pre-party season. And since landing in Turin for Eurovision 2022, she’s kept the fire burning, turning out a series of fiery rehearsals that left our eyes burning with her precise dance moves and her glorious voice.
Now, as hype builds surrounding the Spanish songstress and her chances of winning, Head of Delegation Eva Mora says that RTVE is ready to take up the challenge.
Speaking exclusively to Wiwibloggs ahead of our interview with the Cuban-born star on Saturday, Eva said:
“We did the best Olympic Games in history and would make a great ESC 2023. Spain has all the tourist infrastructures and we are sure that the institutions would be involved. We already have a plan to host ESC 2023.”
You’ll recall that Eva launched Benidorm Fest 2022 — Spain’s highly successful and much talked-about Eurovision selection show. It set a TV ratings high for RTVE and was trending all over social media for weeks. It drew praise domestically and abroad for the variety and quality of its songs.
Chanel is a multifaceted artist, bringing her magic to acting, dancing and singing. This is a pop-dance track with an urban and Latin essence. The song was composed by Leroy Sánchez (ESC 2021 songwriter for Spain), Keith Harris, Ibere Fortes, Maggie Szabos and Arjen Thonen.
Writing ahead of Eurovision, I couldn’t hide my love for Chanel and her song. Read More…
