2. Jomtien Beach
Just 4 kilometers down Pattaya city, Jomtien Beach (also known as the Chom Thian), is located in the south and is a perfect location for those who seek a quieter and subdued atmosphere. This beach is surrounded by restaurants & convenience stores with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and hawker food for tourists to sit and relax by the clear water waves of the sea. For those who love water activities, Jomtien Beach offers rides such as banana boats, jet skis, windsurfing, sailing, and parasailing.
Although one can visit Jomtien Beach throughout the year, the best time to visit ensuring a pleasant sightseeing experience would be between the months of November – April, as the climate is dry and not so hot during this time of year.
Jomtien Beach also offers some of the largest and most spectacular religious sites in the whole country, including the Viharn Sien, Buddha Mountain, and Wat Yansangwararam.
