2 held with 310 bottles of Phensidyl in Savar

Members of Rapid Action Battalion today detained two persons and allegedly recovered 310 bottles of Phensidyl from them in Savar.
The detainees are Jakirul Islam Roni (39) of Dinajpur and Md Sumon (26) of Joypurhat, said Md Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury, media officer of Rab-4 in a press release sent to media today, reports our Savar correspondent.
Acting on a tip-off, a Rab team conducted a drive in Joybangla Gate area on Dhaka-Aricha highway around 1:15 am and recovered the bottles of Phensidyl after searching a microbus.
Later, they detained the two men from the vehicle for their alleged involvement with drug dealing.
During the primary interrogation, the detainees admitted their crime and said that they usually collect such drugs from country's bordering areas and deliver them to capital and its adjacent area, the Rab official said.
