PURE SHORES
This view of the wild coastline at Weymouth, on Tasmania's north coast, is the star at Drop Anchor, Di and Anthony Loone's 1950s beach shack. Full of she-oaks, tea-trees and native grasses, the garden is low-maintenance, thanks to lawnmowing wallabies. Di furnished the deck with a fire pit, wicker furniture from her homewares shop, Ecoco, and a bath.
"You can go for a swim, come back and have a warm bath," she says. "There are uplights in the deck that illuminate the tea-trees above… you can lie down and gaze at the stars."
