The slime is one of the most iconic enemies in gaming. From their simplistic shapes and translucency to their goofy expressions and movements, slimes stand apart from the more complex and serious monsters featured in many RPGs. Despite their wholesome appeal, most games relegate slimes to the background, a minor enemy to be killed a few times in a dungeon and then forgotten.
Mind The Diet
Slime Rancher 2 may be one of the most wholesome games around, but it can still be tricky. One can't expect to raise healthy, happy slimes if their diet is poor. Almost slime has its own preferred food, whether fruit, vegetables, or meat. Indeed, most slimes are extremely picky about what they do and don't want, which can make feeding time a chore, depending upon what slimes the player is trying to raise and what resources they have available.
There is one notable exception, however: the Pink Slime. A Pink Slime will eat anything the player wants to feed them, which simplifies the entire feeding process. If the player has other kinds of slime and wants to simplify the feeding process, there's an easy way to do it: feed the slime in question a Pink Plort to produce a Pink Largo which, like other pink slimes, will eat anything.
