A large amount of narcotics was found in an apartment on Skallberget in Västerås on Thursday after private individuals smelled a strong smell of narcotics near the apartment.
It was late on Thursday afternoon that the police went to the apartment on Bellmansgatan, something that VLT was the first to report on.
- We were alerted to Skallberget at 16.57 and found a large quantity of narcotics in an apartment. We find two people in the apartment, a man in his 20s and a man in his 40s who were arrested, Tobias Ahlén Svalbro, press spokesperson at police region Mitt, tells SVT Nyheter Västmanland.
Messy place
The men were arrested shortly after the arrest and are on probable grounds suspected of drug offences.
The police have no information on the quantity or type of narcotics involved at this time.
