ABBA Voyage outfits on display at Liverpool's British Music Experience
The outfits are housed in the pop music museum located in Liverpool's Cunard Building
ABBA Voyage has donated their Phoenix Collection outfits to go on public display at the British Music Experience as part of the museum’s celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The Swedish band stormed the 1974 contest with their hit Waterloo and solidified themselves as pop staples not only in the show but all over the world.
Shockingly, the UK awarded ABBA zero points but it's all water under the bridge as they've chosen the UK to build a custom performance space, The ABBA Arena. The group take to the stage in digital versions of themselves, brought to life using the latest technology.
The outfits sit opposite Eurovision 2022 winners Kalush Orchestra's looks and Sam Ryder's Spaceman jumpsuit, also on display to celebrate the Liverpool contest. Building events around the contest, there will be a supporting public event programme including a VIP screening of the Eurovision grand finale, a Eurovision quiz and panel discussions with past contestants.
