Andean Parliament Reiterates Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity
In January, Algeria invited the president of the Andes Parliament to address the 17th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
During her speech, Florez made hostile remarks about Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over Western Sahara.

The committee sent a communique to Morocco’s House of Councillors on Saturday, stressing the body’s “immutable position supporting the political sovereignty, national unity, and territorial integrity of the Kingdom, as well as the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara.”
The House of Councillors added that the commission affirmed that it “considered civilized dialogue to be the best way to reach the consensus necessary for a climate of real and lasting peace.”
The Moroccan delegation which attended the OIC meeting, condemned the continued maneuvers to challenge Morocco’s territorial integrity, stressing that Algeria’s invitation of Florez
