Approved law that regulates the use of the name of Simà³n Bolàvar
The legal instrument seeks to exalt and honor the Venezuelan hero
This Tuesday during the ordinary session of the National Assembly (AN) the Law that Regulates the Use of the Name, Titles and Effigy of El Libertador Simón Bolívar was unanimously approved.
From the Federal Legislative Palace, the Law was approved that has 11 articles, a derogatory provision and a final one, and proposes to declare the name, titles and effigy of El Libertador Simón Bolívar as material and immaterial historical heritage of the nation, thus also indicating the duty of every citizen to exalt and honor the Venezuelan hero.
In addition, it is mandatory to place on the effigy or image of El Libertador a brief inscription with his name, signature and title in each of the areas of public view.
