Pasi Widgren shared that his work of art is a Christmas present to the hikers in the area
For the sixth year in a row, the Finnish artist Pasi Widgren has left people speechless. During the first week of December, Widgren took to the frozen Lake Pitkajarvi with the aim of creating temporary art. Using a shovel, the famous artist removed snow from the surface of the icy lake to reveal a beautiful 90-metre fox.
Acknowledging that this is a dangerous and life-threatening task, Widgren intended to use ice awls in case the ice beneath him cracked.
