Artists are summoned for the Barrio Obrero Murales Project
The Municipality of Ciudad del Este extends the deadline for the call for visual artists and muralists from the municipality and surroundings, to be part of the "Barrio Obrero Murales" Project, coordinated by the Directorate of Tourism and History.
The objective of this program is to enhance the value of the first neighborhood of the city with a social, historical and tourist sense, focused on the historical rescue to promote tourism potential, incorporated as one of the relevant axes of the management of Mayor Miguel Prieto Vallejos.
This plan will seek to support the creation of spaces for art, history and culture through artistic interventions on walls and the revaluation of old houses in the neighborhood.
Through it, an unprecedented dialogue will be established between artists, neighbors and visitors to the neighborhood. The writer and researcher Damián Cabrera and the renowned artist Oz Montanía participate as juries of the project. Read More…
