Bangladesh’s Real Estate Market Projected to Reach $41 Billion by 2028

At a recent event, speakers highlighted the promising growth trajectory of Bangladesh's construction market, forecasting an increase from USD 30.38 billion in 2023 to USD 41.47 billion by 2028. This growth underscores the vital role that the real estate and construction sector plays in driving the country’s economic progress.

The insights were shared during a press conference organized by CEMS-Global USA at the National Press Club, where the 29th edition of the Bangladesh edition of its globally renowned Build Series of Exhibitions was announced.

Importance of the Build Series of Exhibitions

Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA and Asia-Pacific, presided over the press conference. She emphasized the significance of these exhibitions in promoting sustainable development and fostering international collaboration. According to Islam, these events are crucial for positioning Bangladesh as a global player in the real estate, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors.

The multisectoral exhibitions aim to enhance opportunities for B2B connections across various industries. The series will comprise six major international expos, serving as a vital platform for the real estate, construction, and renewable energy industries.

A Landmark Event for the South-Asian Industry

As the oldest event of its kind in the region, running for the past 29 years, the Build Series promises to be a landmark occasion for the South-Asian industry. It will showcase the latest advancements in construction methods and equipment, highlighting innovations that can drive the sector forward.

The six comprehensive exhibitions will focus on the Textile and Garment Industry of Bangladesh and will be held at the International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka. These events are expected to attract architects, key manufacturers, and retailers from around the globe, providing a platform to discuss the latest trends and advancements in the construction and electricity supply chain sectors.

With the real estate and construction market in Bangladesh on a robust growth path, the upcoming Build Series of Exhibitions is set to play a pivotal role in furthering the sector's development. By bringing together industry leaders and innovators, these exhibitions will not only showcase the potential of Bangladesh's construction market but also enhance its position on the global stage.
