Denim mini skirts are one of those perennial classics that come out again every Spring and Summer. While the denim maxi might be the most on trend length for 2-2023, you can never go wrong with a classic short denim skirt or denim skort. They’re one of those closet staples that are easy to dress up or down and that look just as good with a basic white tank top and flats as they do with heels. Plus they’re more comfortable than denim shorts IMO. Since denim everything is a major trend for 2023 now’s the time for a refresh. Here’s the styles on my wishlist this year from pleated styles to skorts and some denim skirt outfit ideas and styling inspo to get the most wear out of them this season.

You can’t really go wrong with a denim mini skirt. Whether you go for a classic style or something more on trend for 2023 like a pleated denim skirt or distressed Y2K style. For something that’s a bit more of a statement piece look for details like asymmetrical waistbands or hems and accent buttons.
