Bulgaria’s Varna, Bourgas airports announce details of summer season 2023 flights
rom May 1, flag Bulgaria Air is increasing the frequency of its flights from Sofia to Varna, and on weekdays it will operate three flights a day, while on Saturdays and Sundays, it will operate two flights a day, Varna Airport said in a statement about its summer 2023 schedule.
All 16 routes that Wizz Air operated in the winter at Varna Airport will continue to be served in the summer season as well, the airport said.
Eight of them are connections to airports in Germany: Baden Baden, Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Frankfurt Hahn, Hamburg, Memmingen, Nuremberg,
The others are Vienna (Austria), London Luton and Liverpool (UK), Prague (Czech Republic), Larnaca (Cyprus), Charleroi (Belgium), Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Tel Aviv (Israel).
Ryanair will continue to operate flights from Vienna to Varna during the summer season without interruption, and on March 26, the airline restarts its flights from Sofia to Varna twice a week.
In addition, this season the airline is adding three new routes to Varna – Vilnius (Lithuania) and Katowice (Poland), starting at the beginning of June, as well as Krakow (Poland) from the beginning of July, and for the first time this season, there will be regular flights on this route. Read More..
