Bulgarian athletes showcased an impressive performance at the Balkan U18 Championships in Maribor, securing a total of nine medals: three gold, four silver, and two bronze.
Gold Medals:
- Radina Velichkova: Won gold in the women's 100 m, setting a new national record with a time of 11.48 seconds.
- Dimo Andreev: Claimed gold in the men's hammer throw.
- Hristiyan Kasabov: Secured gold in the men's 110 m hurdles, setting a national record with a time of 13.53 seconds.
Silver Medals:
- Women's 4x100 m Relay Team: Radina Velichkova, Iva Deliverska, Kristina Petkova, and Anna Milanova won silver, setting a national record with a time of 47.11 seconds.
- Iva Deliverska: Won silver in the women's 110 m hurdles, setting a national record with a time of 13.46 seconds.
