Bus driver dies in horror crash with unmarked police car in Sydney's north west
A Sydney bus driver who died after his vehicle collided with an unmarked police car at an intersection in the city’s north west has been identified.
Andy Leonello was behind the wheel of the coach when it collided with the vehicle at the intersection of Third and Fifth avenues in Llandilo, just after 7am on Tuesday.
The 76-year-old was looking forward to becoming a grandfather in July. His family has been left shattered.
It’s believed the larger vehicle, with no passengers on board, collided with the car, before crashing into trees.
Leonello died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a police sergeant aged in his 40s, was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition with head injuries. He will undergo mandatory testing.
“This created another challenge for paramedics and other emergency first responders,” Inspector Keith Craig said.
The sergeant was praised for calling for assistance.
“Despite his injuries, the driver of the car got out and called for assistance after the accident. He should be praised for that effort.
“This accident is another reminder about the dangers we all face when we get behind the wheel. I would urge all drivers to take more care and patience on the roads, so we can all arrive at our destinations safely.” Read More...
