Cameroon Star Expected To Return To Inter Milan XI For Serie A & Champions League Clashes
Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to start in Serie A against Salernitana and then in the Champions League against Benfica after Samir Handanovic starts against Juventus in the Coppa Italia this evening.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that there will be a bit of rotation in the Nerazzurri goal between the next few matches.
It has been reported that Handanovic is set to start this evening against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semifinal first leg, whilst the overall starting eleven could see a fair bit of rotation with all of Kristjan Asllani, Danilo D’Ambrosio, and Raoul Bellanova potential starters.
The Gazzetta confirms that captain Handanovic is the probable starter in goal, with the Slovenian displacing Onana.
However, it should not be long before the Cameroonian international is back between the sticks, as he should be back as soon as this Friday’s Serie A match against Salernitana.
The 27-year-old former Ajax has been winning plaudits for his performances this season, and has cemented a role for himself as the regular first-choice starter ahead of Handanovic. Read More..
