Cardiff Animation Festival announces Mini-Festival 2023

The full programme of Cardiff Animation Festival (CAF)’s fourth, mini edition 24th-25th March 2023 has now been announced, and tickets are now on sale. Mini-CAF 2023 will celebrate animation with two days of events in Cardiff and online, featuring feature and short film screenings, Q&As, masterclasses, workshops and more.
The theme for Mini-CAF 2023 is all things miniature, celebrating the little things that make animation so special.
The programme will include: a talk from Welsh animator and social media star Ketnipz, a screening of Oscar-nominated stop-motion film Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, Aardman discussing their series The Very Small Creatures, One Bum Cinema Club (possibly the smallest cinema in the world) taking residency in Chapter’s foyer and a screening of Annecy 2022 Cristal-winner Little Nicholas, plus more films from all over the world and much more.
