Police in Chingola have arrested a-22-year-old man who has allegedly raped his 40-year-old mother.
The victim was also badly beaten and unknown object is alleged to have been used to inflict the injuries on her body by her son.
The victim is admitted to Chawama Health Center, and the condition is said not to be stable.
Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Sharon Zulu confirmed that police received a report of rape from a female Juvenile that her mother was badly beaten and raped by her elder brother.
Ms Zulu said the victim sustained a swollen face, painful vagina and general body pains.
She said that brief facts are that the female juvenile, who lives along the same road with her Aunt, went to visit her mother to do some house chores as per routine. Read More...
