Costanera will become a stellar observatory

On Friday and Saturday, telescopes will be installed on the Costanera de Asunción to observe stars and planets. It will have a low cost to raise funds for young people to represent Paraguay in the Astronomy Olympics
The telescopes will be installed on the terrace of Turista Roga on the Costanera de Asunción. The activity, called "Astronomical Observation Night" is organized by the Paraguayan Astrophysics Club.
It would start at approximately 6:30 p.m. and would last all night, until 11:00 p.m. The cost to access all the telescopes will be G. 10,000.
The proceeds will be for 5 young Paraguayan students who will represent us in the Latin American Olympiad of Astronomy and Aeronautics that will take place in Panama at the beginning of October. Read More…
