Couleur Café festival announces nine more acts
The forthcoming Couleur Café festival is set to take place under the Atomium in Osseghem Park in just seven weeks' time. The festival, which has long been a favorite among Brussels' event-goers, has just revealed the identities of nine more artists who will be performing at this year's eagerly-anticipated edition.
Scheduled to run from 23 to 25 June, organizers have confirmed the full roster of acts set to take to the Red Stage, Green Stage, Dub Stage and the all-new The Fox stage. The event's opening night, Friday 23 June, will feature a performance from ECHT!, a Brussels-based quartet whose music defies genre classification, blending elements of electro, hip-hop, trap, funk, and futuristic jazz into an immersive sonic experience. Meanwhile, Antwerp duo blackwave is poised to bring their seamless combination of pop and hip-hop to the stage in a performance that promises to be dazzling.
On Saturday 24 June, festival-goers will have the chance to experience the infectious rhythms, impressive melodies, and high-energy performances of Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, the legendary afrobeat icons. Also taking to the stage will be DJ Vega, who will be mixing up the latest wave of Belgian rap during the Niveau4 edition with Bonnet Sumo, Spacebabymadcha, Absolem, Low G, Bex, Gutti, and Myk, resulting in a captivating fusion of sound.
