Croatia’s Annual Inflation slows to 2.4% in June – First Estimate
Croatia's consumer prices increased by 2.4% year-on-year in June, down from a 3.3% rise in May, according to a first estimate by the Bureau of Statistics released on Tuesday. On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged in June, following a 0.1% increase in May.

- Food, Beverages, and Tobacco: Prices rose by 2.1%.
- Service Costs: Increased by 5.5%.
- Industrial Non-Food Products (Excluding Energy): Gained 1.5%.
- Energy Prices: Fell by 0.5%.
Monthly Changes:
The CPI was unchanged in June, after a 0.1% rise in May.
The statistical office will release the final inflation data for June on July 16.
EU-Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP):
Prices of goods and services for personal consumption in Croatia, measured by the HICP, increased by an average of 3.4% in June on a year-on-year basis.
On a monthly basis, the HICP rose by an estimated 0.8% in June.
For comparison, Croatia reported a 4.3% annual rise and a 0.2% monthly increase in the HICP in May.
These figures indicate a slowdown in the inflation rate, with consumer prices stabilizing after previous increases, particularly in essential sectors such as food and services.
