Compassion in World Farming Polska sent a report on the investigation along with the scientific opinion of dr hab. prof. UP Marcin Urbaniak to Minister Henryk Kowalczyk. The organization appeals to the Polish minister of agriculture to put pressure on the European Union to keep its promise to ban cage farming. In 2021, the European Commission made a public commitment to end the cage age, in response to the European Citizens' Initiative "End the Cage Age" chaired by Compassion in World Farming. A total of 1.4 million verified signatures were collected then, which made it the third most willingly signed European initiative in Poland since 2012.
