Cybersecurity against scams and computer thefts: Peru had 5.2 billion attempted cyberattacks this year
A single 'click' to open a message, view a website or make a download could result in theft of our data on devices, 'emptying' of accounts, identity theft, and other problems due to cybercrime.
According to the latest report from Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs, Peru suffered 5.2 billion cyberattack attempts in the first half of the year (January to June 2022 ), that is, 10% more than in the same period of 2021 (it registered 4, 7 billion).
From January to April 2022, the Public Ministry registered 7,297 complaints of computer crimes, of which 5,356 are typified. Therefore, there are several aspects to take into account to improve our cybersecurity, and then we give you some guidelines on that.
