Demand for medicines for heart disease has increased in Russia
In the first half of the year, the demand for cardiac drugs in Russia increased by 39% compared to the same period last year, according to the data of the Chestny Znak labeling system operator.
In just six months, Russians bought 71.7 million packages of drugs for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system and spent 26.1 billion rubles on them.
Most of them were sold in the Ryazan, Tula, Orel, Pskov, Tver, Penza, Lipetsk and Kursk regions, as well as the republics of Mordovia and Karelia. Residents of Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia buy such drugs less often.
Analysts at Chestnoy Znak also calculated that the average price of heart drugs fell by 6%, from 351 rubles in June 2021 to 330 rubles in June 2022.
It is noted that due to the growth in demand, there are no risks of a shortage of medicines for the treatment of heart disease - the existing stocks, while maintaining sales, will be enough for 11 months. Read More…
