Lami Edie, Producer of the TV Series Hassles
This project which was shot in the United States precisely in Oklahoma, talks about the lives of immigrants when they get into the United states or any foreign Country. The movie features lots of talented yet unknown Cameroonian actors, making it extra special because the world and Cameroonians in particular will get to see some of their skillful acts.
Here’s what the Director Samson Asongwe has to say about the show;
HASSLES is a 5 episode series, that tells a story of 3 immigrants from Cameroon into the united states; Senze the nurse, Yebi is in nursing school and Dione has no plans whatsoever with her life. These ladies face a lot of challenges, including going to school, while managing two jobs, taking care of their families in the U.S & back in Cameroon. The series shows the reality about life abroad, as oppose to the popular opinion that life abroad is a bed of roses. Read More...
