Duque: Venezuela's opposition policy must be reset and assumed responsibly
The mayor of the Chacao municipality, Gustavo Duque, considers a reset necessary within the Venezuelan opposition sector to understand the political moment in the country.
"Venezuela's opposition policy must be reset to understand the political moment we are experiencing and assume it responsibly," he said on Monday in Vladimir a la Una, a program broadcast by Globovisión.
Duque also mentioned the need to hold primary elections ahead of the 2024 presidential election, to avoid past mistakes.
"If we get sectarian to choose who is and who is not, it will be a serious mistake," he added.
The leader of Fuerza Vecinal affirmed that, although they have not been consulted (Fuerza Vecinal) by the rest of the political organizations, they maintain a clear proposal, which includes opening the doors to all civil society.
