Education Minister Douglas Syakalima Has Told Teachers To Embrace New Curriculum

Education Minister Douglas Syakalima encouraged teachers to adopt this curriculum, which is aimed at promoting 21st-century skills to meet the evolving needs of the economy. He highlighted the importance of preparing students with modern skills aligned with today's job market.
Speaking at the event in Lusaka, Ronald Hichibulo, a member of the Teaching Service Commission, urged teachers to raise their voices on issues that impact their ability to deliver quality education. He stressed the importance of collaboration and feedback in shaping a successful education system.
Victor Muyumba, President of the National Union for Public and Private Educators of Zambia (NUPPEZ), acknowledged the government's efforts to enhance teachers' working conditions and the overall education sector.
