End of the school year: The last deadlines

The 2021-2022 school year is coming to an end and exam deadlines are fast approaching. In colleges and high schools, students and administrations are preparing for the smooth running of this last stage of continuous assessment.
Indeed, after the organization of the White Bac from May 11 to 18, it will be the turn of the week blocked with the summary homework of the third quarter. This Saturday, May 14 marks the end of control duties. It was during this period, which has continued since the start of the spring holidays, that the students had to do all this homework before preparing to face this last appointment for the current school year.
In principle, said blocked “week” will last 9 days (May 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, and 31 as well as June 1).
In its circular setting the schedule for continuous monitoring in public and private colleges and high schools, the Ministry of Education specifies that during this period classes will be suspended.
The days of June 16, 17 and 18 are scheduled for correction and delivery of copies to students in the 7 th , 8 th , 1 st 2 nd and 3 rd secondary classes. For ninth graders, it will be June 2, 3 and 4. These students, it should be remembered, have an exam to pass. Namely that of the Diploma of end of studies of basic education on June 20, 21 and 22, 2022. As for the comrades of the final classes, the different deadlines which remain in the school curriculum have been specified in one of our articles published previously (see La Presse of May 12, 2022).
As far as class councils are concerned, priority will be given to the levels concerned by the national examinations. As we mentioned, it is the fourth secondary years who will hold their councils first, on May 26, 27 and 28. Then it will be the turn of the 9th graders on June 11th.
