A fishing boat sank on Monday night in the port of Portimão, the National Maritime Authority announced. There were no crew on the vessel.
The causes of the incident are not yet known and the team from the local Command of the Maritime Police of Portimão went to the scene after having received an alert at 22:14 by a civilian who was in the area.
The authority did not register any source of pollution, and the vessel owner was notified to present a plan for removing or refloating the vessel. Read More...
