Fortnite has added a brand-new never-seen-before item in Chapter 3 Season 4 – and the game as we know it now revolves around the Chrome Splash.
As the island begins to be taken over by Chrome, a lot of this season’s new offerings allow you to fight fire with fire. The new Chrome Splash item lets players harness the power of Chrome, giving yourself a major advantage over enemies.
What Does a Chrome Splash Do?
Throw a Chrome Splash at the ground and you’ll turn to Chrome for a limited time in Fortnite. Chrome players will be immune to fire damage and have the ability to turn into a Blob!
You can also throw a Chrome Spash at a wall to turn it to Chrome. Chrome walls are completely penetrable – you can even step right through them!
Finally, Chrome Splashes can also be used to get the new EvoChrome Shotgun and Burst Rifle in-game! Don’t forget to take advantage of the new mechanic whenever possible.
