Gabiro Guitar drops ‘Girishyaka' album

Afro-beat sensation Gabiro Guitar has blessed music lovers with a 10-track debut album dubbed ‘Girishyaka’ featuring various artistes.
After an extended playlist last year, Gabiro figured it was the right time to drop a second album. His first album is called ‘Byakubera’ and his recent EP is ‘Criminal Love’.
The 10-track album includes ‘Koma’, ‘Akaninja’ Ft Bushali, ‘Hallo’, ‘Switi Switi’, ‘Imizi’ Ft Greyc, ‘Te Quiero’, ‘Juju’ Ft Neza, Fiokee, ‘Babylon’, ‘Kole’ Ft France and ‘Blessings’.
Real name Gilbert Gabiro Girishyaka, the singer says the album was given the title of his name because it represents who he is musically, mostly basing on his performances.
“I wanted to connect with my fans through the album but mostly, my inspiration was to give fans perfect love songs by featuring talented female artistes. That is why I have a collabo with Neza, a Rwandan based in Canada and Rwanda’s R&B singer France,” he says.
Gabiro notes that the songs on the album have Rwandan and Nigerian vibes, which is why he featured Nigerian afro-beat guitarist, producer and artiste Fiokee and Nigerian artiste Greyc. Read More…
