Gloria Bistriţa announces the transfers of Ivana Kapitanović and Nikolina Vukčević
The women's handball team Gloria Bistriţa has bolstered its squad with the addition of two significant players: goalkeeper Ivana Kapitanović and pivot Nikolina Vukčević.
Ivana Kapitanović
Ivana Kapitanović, a highly experienced goalkeeper, joins Gloria Bistriţa from the vice-champion team Rapid Bucharest. She brings with her a wealth of experience, having been a multiple national champion in Croatia and France, and a participant in the Champions League Final Four Tournament. Kapitanović has also represented Croatia in the European Championships in 2018 and 2022, as well as the World Championship in 2021. In Romania, she has earned a silver medal in the National League and was a finalist in the Supercup twice (2022-2023).
Nikolina Vukčević
Nikolina Vukčević, a Montenegrin pivot, has previously played for Buducnost and the Montenegro national team, with appearances in the European Championship in 2020. She is a triple national champion in Montenegro.

With these additions, Gloria Bistriţa's roster is strengthened as they prepare to compete in Group A of the Champions League. The group includes formidable teams such as Metz Handball, FTC Budapest, CSM Bucharest, Krim Ljubljana, Storhamar, Nykobing, and Podravka.
