Government provided comprehensive care to educators in Las Tejeràas
A total of 554 educators affected by the landslide that occurred in the Las Tejerías community, in the state of Aragua, were assisted by the National Government through a comprehensive mega day, in which they were provided with free medical attention, provision of implements and footwear. to complement their academic training work.
This was reported by the Minister for Education, Yelitze Santaella, during the work day headed by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, to evaluate the positive results obtained by the 1×10 Good Government.
Recovery of Schools and start of classes
"After days of intense work between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the organized people, together with our teachers, we can say that we have rescued 27 of 32 schools affected by the tragedy," said Santaella, who thanked the impetus and the strength of the educators and the enthusiasm and resilience of the boys and girls, who today with their uniforms and supplies returned to their educational centers, showing that Las Tejerías is gradually returning to normality.
In that sense, the minister added that the recovered schools were provided with supplies and utensils to put the dining rooms, recreational areas and computer rooms to work. “Not only did we recover the infrastructure, we also worked to make the dining rooms, the Bolivarian information and telematics centers work. Yoibert Mendoza, in his second year of high school, expressed his joy at returning to his high school where he was reunited with his classmates.
"We meet again and it's nice to know that nothing happened to anyone and we're all fine and healthy," he said.
