Summer is here, and many wildflowers are in full bloom, making it a great time to grab your camera and head out to enjoy the warm weather and photo opportunities. If you want to improve your wildflower images, check out this fantastic video tutorial that offers some helpful tips and also discusses some common mistakes and how to fix or avoid them in the first place.
Coming to you from Michael Shainblum, this excellent video tutorial will show you some helpful tips for photographing wildflowers as well as some mistakes to avoid. Of course, beyond wide angle shots showcasing the environment, you can get close-up details using a macro lens, but if you do not own one, consider using an extension tube instead.
These will not give you the same magnification of a true macro lens, but on the other hand, they are far more affordable and a great way to try out macro work without having to spend a lot of money.
