Here are all the Unfolding Bangkok art installations at Benchakitti Park
Get inspired—and get your hands dirty—from now until 23 April
One of central Bangkok’s nicest parks has become even more attractive as it hosts new art installations and a lot of workshops as part of Unfolding Bangkok, a series of state-backed events that’s aimed at showcasing the many dimensions of the city through art of various kinds.
The latest to be revealed is Unfolding Bangkok: Greeting Benchakitti. Curator Angkrit Ajchariyasophon has invited five prominent local artists to create meaningful, site-specific sculptures that parkgoers can enjoy and immerse themselves in.
All installations will be displayed until 23 April. Free art workshops will also be hosted every weekend.

The Circle Biogenesis 2023
Suriya Amphansirirat reimagines the harmony of nature, life, and the universe through an upcycled metal installation that features three circular trays, all of which contain a growing rice paddy. Each tray is meant to symbolize eight hours in a day (three to depict all 24 hours in one day), while the rice symbolizes solar-powered food that are essential for humans to survive. Read More…
