Holiday parks, holiday villages and resorts are mostly called “stugby” or “fritidsby” in Swedish. Sometimes they are affiliated with a hotel, sometimes with a campsite. Some of these holiday parks are completely independent.
Generally these holiday parks are perfect for families with children. Many sites have playgrounds, minigolf courses, shops, restaurants, canoe rentals and other facilities. Some offer activites such as horse riding, hiking, mountainbiking or treasure hunts.
Holiday parks are also convenient when two families want to go on a holiday together.

Skåne: Mötesplats Borstahusen in Landskrona, Skåne
This is a 5-star campsite and holiday resort, located right next to the sea, a fishing harbour, and a golf course. Lots of playgrounds for the kids.
Småland: Sjöstugans Hotell & Camping in Älmhult
At Lake Möckeln with a sandy beach. Fantastic location and very nice staff. Three different categories of cabins. In addition, some nice, modern hotel rooms. Approx. 3 km from the IKEA museum. This resort is booked most often on our site.
Småland: Västervik Resort in Västervik
Amusement park, bathing area, wellness … – here you have it all! Booked a lot on our site for years – perhaps also because Västervik is such a pleasant destination for a holiday.
