Stockholm Fashion Week has been in full swing since Monday, and the SFW trend-setters have been sure to showcase the sartorial skill that Scandinavians master the most – layering. Being used to the cold, we recognise the importance of bundling up. To fight the bitter chill, we lean into layered looks that keep us warm whilst also allow us to play around with our favourite pieces.
Taking cues from the Scandi style set captured on the streets of Stockholm, this season we’re looking into layering from a fresh perspective. Getting inventive with your winter wardrobe is recommended: throw a soft jumper on as a scarf, and if you’re not the one for bulky puffers and weighty wool coats, don’t be afraid of wearing jackets on jackets – layer up with sharp blazers and timeless trench coats.
