How To Transfer WhatsApp Chats From Android to iPhone

If you’ve made the change from Google to Apple, you can carry on your WhatsApp chats and data from your Android smartphone to the iPhone.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to Facebook to share the announcement saying that they’ve added this ability on WhatsApp that lets you transfer your chat history including messages, videos and photos from Android to iPhone.
He adds that the transfer maintains end-to-end encryption.
This feature is available for beta users and will roll out to the public in a few weeks.
Here’s how to go about it
· Either of your devices should have the latest operating system. Your smartphone should have Android 5 and above and the iPhone should have iOS 15.5
· You should have an updated Android version of WhatsApp( 2.22.7.74) installed
· You should have the Move to iOS Android app installed
· Your iPhone should have the same number as your Android version
· Once you’ve installed the app, follow the prompts being shown
· The accompanying iPhone will display a code that you should enter
· On the Transfer Data screen, select WhatsApp and tap Next
· Tap Continue to initiate the transfer process. It will take a while depending on how much data you have
