How to watch 'Westworld' season 4

Set in the near future, the dystopian sci-fi Western’s first season was set at “Westworld,” an Old West-themed amusement park populated by androids programmed to cater to all needs of humans visitors. As the series progresses, the androids stage a revolution against their creators, eventually leaving the confines of the park and, as seen in the eerie new trailer for season four, they find themselves on the streets.

What is Westworld about?

The robots have become sentient! That’s the general plot of Westworld, and while it’s a theme explored by other shows that have come before it, including Battlestar Galactica and Humans, Westworld changes things up by setting the series in a not-too-distant future where these androids, called “hosts,” work in a theme park where the patrons are allowed to use and abuse them in any way they like. When the androids realize they are capable of having memories and feelings, they rebel against their creators. Westworld contains twists throughout its first three seasons, including hosts who were previously thought to be humans, as well as hosts that make copies of their bodies. All of these surprises manage to keep the audience on our toes as the human characters and the androids they created grapple with the complexity and dangers of artificial intelligence. Read More...
