Paula Bogantes Zamora will replace Carlos Alvarado as Costa Rica’s science, innovation, technology and telecoms minister.
Alvarado served for six months and the change at the ministry is part of a broader shakeup that also affects state utilities and agencies.
ICT chamber Camtic said in a press release that Bogantes Zamora’s work has been "distinguished for being of the highest quality, always safeguarding the interests of citizens, companies and organizations."
Bogantes Zamora worked at investment promotion entity Cinde and served until recently as foreign trade deputy minister. Read More..
