Ana Obregon has long been one of the most popular Spanish television celebrities. She was a sexy actress in the "destape" (nudity) films of the 1980s and later became a star in successful mainstream TV series in the 1990s and 2000s. She has also been a host or participant in entertainment programs and a regular in the gossip press. At 68 years old, she recently hosted the special New Year's program on Spanish television network TVE. But it is uncertain whether she will continue to be in the public eye due to the controversy that her recent actions have generated.
On March 28, the celebrity appeared on the cover of Hola magazine, holding a newborn in her arms while sitting on a wheelchair outside the Memorial Regional Hospital in Miami, Florida. The words "mother baby chariot" were written on the chair, as if she herself had just given birth to the child through surrogacy.
On Friday, April 21, the Telecinco channel dedicated an entire program to her, during which she did not rule out having more children. In the meantime, she admitted that the baby born in Miami was conceived with the frozen sperm of her only son, who died of cancer in 2020 at the age of 27.
