Investigation of INC cement theft scheme continues
The president of the National Cement Industry (INC) , Ernesto Benítez, indicated that both the institution and the Public Ministry continue to investigate the scheme of the alleged theft of cement that operated in the state company, in complicity with the officials.
“The Prosecutor's Office is carrying out a series of proceedings, we had provided some information and evidence on which we are also delving. Realizing that this had probably been going on for a long time, we decided to file the complaint and gradually review the records, ”he said.
The case came to light last Thursday after the raid of the industrial plant of the state cement company, located in the city of Villeta by the Prosecutor's Office. This, after agents of the Public Ministry have received information about an alleged alteration of the INC computer system to sell thousands of kilos of cement without an invoice.

“What we have more limited are the closed circuit images that are saved for approximately 20 days on the server, that has already been saved. The Computer Crime Police and the Prosecutor's Office have it in their power,” added Benítez regarding the evidence in communication with 650 AM.
He added that they have already identified the officials according to the position they occupy in the institution and that they were separated from their positions. “It was a well-structured scheme of those who were involved.
