Jasper Pà¤à¤kkà¶nen and partners acquire a huge stone castle - price tag 1.5 million euros
Actor and entrepreneur Jasper Pääkkönen has bought the old Röykä hospital in Nurmijärvi with several other Finnish real estate and investment experts for 1.5 million euros.
Pääkkönen founded a company called Röykkä Invest Oy with other buyers, and they prepared a purchase offer for the hospital property.
Helsingin Sanomat and Nurmijärvi Uutiset have also previously reported on the stores .
The deals with the City of Helsinki were established at the beginning of April. Pääkkönen tells Yle that he visited the place for sale last winter and was impressed by what he saw.
- We rammed here in the snow and explored the building from the outside. The idea was that there would be a special revelation. It would be a real shame if this wasn't turned into something really great, says Pääkkönen.
