Kyrgyzstan, Hungary sign joint declaration on strengthening and development of strategic partnership
President Sadyr Japarov and Hungarian President Katalin Novak have signed a joint declaration on strengthening and development of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary on February 13.
The countries expressed intention to further strengthen and expand strategic partnership.
Importance of further development of bilateral political dialogue and continuation of work of Kyrgyzstan-Hungary Strategic Council was underscored.
The countries intend to further develop and strengthen interparliamentary ties.
The countries prioritized cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres and expressed readiness to develop cooperation in agriculture, industry, energy, green creative economy, transport, digitization, trade, mining and textile industry, as well as exchange of experience on free economic zones.
The countries highly regarded functioning of Hungary-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund as a relevant mechanism of strengthening and expansion of economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary. The countries agreed to consider possibility of discussion of increase of charter capital of the Fund. The countries expressed support to further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture, energy, tourism in the framework of the Development Fund.
The countries took a note of a significant progress achieved in the framework of the intergovernmental joint commission for economic cooperation and highlighted importanec of further expansion of cooperation between the line ministries and agencies. The countries agreed to hold the next meeting of the intergovernmental bilateral commission for economic cooperation. The dates will be negotiated. The countries also agreed to continue activities of Kyrgyzstan-Hungary Business Council.
The countries agreed to continue work on launch of direct flights between Bishkek and Budapest. Read More…
