MADRID: Serbian tennis player Dušan Lajović was eliminated from the Masters in Madrid after he was defeated in the third round by German Jan Lennard-Struf with a score of 2:1 (6:7, 6:3, 6:3).
The match lasted two hours and 13 minutes, and the first set lasted the longest because it was decided only in a tie-break, since no one managed to take away the rival's serve. With Štruf leading 5:4, the German missed a set point on Lajović's serve, which the Serb was able to punish and reach 1:0 in the tiebreak.
