1. Choose a Neutral Color Palette

Neutral colors include beige, grey, white, silver, or gold. If you opt for a single-color palette, choose 2 shades of the same color, such as tan and nude, light and dark grey, or brown and beige. Having two shades of one color adds the subtle contrast your nursery needs so it doesn’t look dull or boring.
If you want to add pops of color such as gold, and silver, or muted colors such as sage green and light yellow, make sure all your core pieces are in neutral colors first. You can add colors through your decor or other room accessories like a crib cover.
2. Choose White Furniture

You can paint your walls or use printed wallpaper in neutral colors but your main furniture should be in one color to pop out.
