Bhopal is a city in India that has lived up to its status as the vibrant cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh once again.And now that the foundation day festivities of Tribal Museum have come to an end on Friday, art, music, craft, and cultural aficionados are eagerly awaited for yet another grand festival to be held here soon.The five-day festival, which began on June 6, will culminate on Friday with a spectacular lineup of songs, dance, music, and colours.Any business's anniversary is something special.
For the first time, Pithoragatha, a unique Bhil tribal dance drama, was choreographed.A dance drama based on Jatak kathas was choreographed and performed in nacha form by Chhattisgarh tribals, as well as songs, music, lectures, and puppet performances.Over 500 artistes from 12 states have assembled on one platform, resulting in a grand affair.We're proud that it was so popular, particularly because it has been a part of amrit mahotsav, said museum curator Ashok Mshra.
