Make your apartment pretty on a budget – the best professional tips
We are constantly being overwhelmed with inspiration: on Instagram, on Pinterest, in furniture magazines and in other people's homes. But the stylish pictures on the Internet often feel unreachable. The products are often too expensive, your apartment often too small.

There are a few tricks on how to beautify your own apartment with little money. We asked Noemi and Alexandra from interior service how to do interior design on a budget – and where it pays to spend a little more.
Painting walls and wall stickers
Even if you as a tenant have to undo it when you move out, Noemi and Alexandra swear by beautiful wall colors to transform a room. Alexandra's tip: "If you are unsure about the color, you can start with samples and just delete a small part. Then you can look at the color strip for three days and then decide whether you want it for the whole room or for a specific wall.”

However, Noemi's tip is particularly suitable for children's rooms: "I'm a fan of wall stickers. Not the wall tattoos with poetic sayings, but stickers in mostly geometric shapes, i.e. circles, triangles, and so on. We often use them in children's rooms, but there are many more possibilities”.
Decoration from old wallpaper
“My bedroom just lacked that certain something. I then bought pictures from Instagram for 25 francs and put them in a 30 franc frame. You can also get creative with the pictures, for example by framing leftover fabric or wallpaper,” says Noemi. And Alexandra adds: “Furnishing stores often have old wallpaper books that are otherwise thrown away. Just ask and make decorations out of it yourself!” Read More…
