Malaysian Action Game ‘Katana Rama’ Delayed Until Further Notice

A sad fate for a fun game.
One of the most promising games coming out of Malaysia is the mobility-based third-person action game Katana Rama. The game was unveiled in 2022, with playable demos being made available online and through in-person events.
While originally slated for release in the first quarter of 2023, the Steam release of Katana Rama has instead been delayed indefinitely, according to a Twitter post by Katana Rama developers Ghost Machine.
Ghost Machine’s official statement on the matter is as follows:
“Hi Everyone
As the scheduled release date of Katana Rama draws closer. The game's development is nowhere near ready for a full release. So the team and I have decided the best course of action is to DELAY the game's release further into the future.
I personally have underestimated the task of developing Katana Rama and Marketing it. I hereby take full responsibility for this delay and would like to apologize to everyone who's looking forward to playing the full release of Katana Rama in February.
As of now, Katana Rama's release date won't have a specific month as a release window. All we can hope for is the game to still make it to be released this year. (2023)
Let it be known that the completion of Katana Rama's development is our team's utmost priority. Ghost Machine's debut release means a lot to the team and me personally.
